Overview

Welcome to Selventon Interviewing Courses. These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of our training site, products, and services. By using this site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not access or use the site or any services.

1. Acceptance

By accessing this website you agree to these Terms.

By using the services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and “you” will refer to that organization.

2. Courses and Content

1. Courses are educational; we do not guarantee specific outcomes.
2. You may not resell course materials.
3. We may update content without notice.
4. Access to on‑demand materials is for your personal, non‑transferable use during the stated access window.
5. You may not scrape, copy at scale, or redistribute course content or teaching aids.

3. Payments and Refunds

Prices are in CAD. Refunds are handled case-by-case for live cohorts before start dates.

1. Taxes and processing fees may apply based on your location and payment method.
2. Once a live cohort begins, fees are generally non‑refundable, except where required by law.
3. Chargebacks for valid enrollments may result in account suspension until resolved.

We apply reasonable safeguards but cannot guarantee absolute security. You agree to notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access to your account or course materials.

5. Accounts and Access

1. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities under your account.
2. Accounts are single‑user; sharing or pooling access is prohibited.
3. We may suspend or revoke access for suspected misuse, non‑payment, or violations of these Terms.

6. Acceptable Use

1. Do not upload, share, or submit content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful.
2. Do not attempt to bypass technical protections, rate limits, or access controls.
3. Do not harass instructors or other learners; maintain a professional environment in all communications.

7. Intellectual Property

1. All course materials, branding, and site content are owned by Selventon or its licensors and protected by applicable laws.
2. Limited license: we grant you a revocable, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to access and use the content for your personal training.
3. Any feedback you provide may be used by us without restriction and without obligation to you.

8. Live Sessions and Recordings

Live cohort sessions may be recorded to improve teaching quality and provide replays to participants within the course access window. By attending, you consent to incidental capture of audio or text chat, and you agree not to download or redistribute recordings beyond permitted access.

9. Third‑Party Tools

We may integrate third‑party tools (e.g., video conferencing, code sandboxes). Your use of those tools is subject to their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third‑party services and do not control their availability or performance.

10. Disclaimers

1. The site and content are provided “as is” and “as available.”
2. We disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement.
3. No advice or information, whether oral or written, creates any warranty not expressly stated in these Terms.

11. Limitation of Liability

1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Selventon and its instructors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
2. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the services will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific course giving rise to the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Selventon, its affiliates, and instructors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any rights of a third party.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time where reasonably necessary to protect users, content, or our services, or for your breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the services will cease immediately, and you must delete any downloaded materials that are not explicitly permitted for retention.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles.

You agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us. If we cannot resolve the dispute within 30 days, the dispute will be submitted to binding arbitration seated in Toronto, Ontario, in English, before a single arbitrator, under applicable arbitration rules. You and Selventon agree to resolve disputes only on an individual basis; class actions and class arbitrations are not permitted.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “Effective date” below. Your continued use of the site after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Selventon regarding the services and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements on the subject matter.
